I'm Ieshah Mapp. I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, a BBA graduate of Howard University School of Business, and the founder of Mapp Holdings LLC, an NYC and NYS MWBE-certified AI consulting firm.
My professional background spans clinical practice, college instruction, grant program administration, and 15+ years of workforce and youth programming across New York City and Long Island. The through-line has always been the same: I help people and systems respond to change.
That's what brought me to AI.
When I started consulting on AI adoption, I expected the work to be technical. It isn't. The technology is rarely the bottleneck. The bottleneck is always the human gap between what tools can do and what organizations can actually execute.
Every AI implementation I've worked on has come down to the same set of questions. Who is going to use this? What are they afraid of? What habits need to change? What will the org culture let people say out loud about this, and what will it silence? How do you make adoption feel like progress instead of threat?
Those are human-systems questions. They're the questions I've been trained to ask for 15 years. And they're the questions most AI consultants skip.
